Administrative and Finance Department

 


This Department is responsible for the management and administration of the MSP. It looks after the day-to-day administrative and financial aspects of the company including the human resource. The Department coordinates regular meetings among the relevant Departments to ensure the smooth functioning of the company. This Department also serves as a link with the stakeholder agencies and provides administrative support services to all the other Departments to enable them to carryout their functions smoothly. Some of the functions of this Department as are follows:

    • To coordinate personnel matters such as recruitment, transfer, promotions and processing for further action.
    • To process for post vacancy announcement/staff requisition to the Ministry/Government.
    • To process applications for leave and maintain and update records of services.
    • To arrange for the payment of logistic services such as telephone, electricity and sewerage bills.
    • To arrange for the payment of salaries, allowances and other eligible payments.
    • To coordinate and submit the annual budget requirements and progress reports to the Ministry of Health, Management Board and other relevant authorities.
    • To serve as the information link with agencies outside the organization and keep the staff updated on the relevant developments.
    • To act as the Secretariat for the Management Board and other meetings.
    • To assist in making necessary arrangements for the internal/external auditing of the other Departments.
    • To process for HRD related matters as per the need and recommendation of the Departments.
    • To provide any other necessary social services and support to the staff in terms of their needs.
